Ikariam is a browser based strategy game, it takes a very huge amount of time to enjoy this type of game. It’s a game that you need a lot of free time in your hands to flourish. Before they don’t have a protection for starters so you could be basically attacked by a veteran and old player, I don’t know if they fixed it. I actually like Travian over this.

Ikariam is a 2D browser based strategy MMO set in the Greek Isles. Players start with a single village, or Polis, on a Mediterranean island and must expand their territory and wealth through trade & conquest.

Ikariam is a fun game to play, you can pillage other villages, steal their resources, or you can ally with them and take on another alliance! The fun starts when you have about 4-5 colonies, because people will respect you and ally with you.

Ikariam is a good browser game. It is quite addicting because you don’t really have monsters to defeat. What you do have are real people who will invade or defend their territories. However, I did have some issues with the lag and some of the graphics are really bad.

Ikariam is well developed, it really need the player to interact with other player for important resources or simply conquer and get their land. however the game is not that fun, it is quite slow paced and has limited option.
